Molson Coors

The Molson Coors Brewery project in Chilliwack was a monumental project for our team. Molson Coors has been brewing in BC for more than sixty years. The new location’s modern design required the fabrication and erection of 1500 tons of galvanized steel. The finished building is set to reduce energy use by 20% and water consumption by 40% while also reducing the company’s carbon footprint.

Experience Pays Off

Schedule was paramount for this project and construction drawings were not yet at construction quality. Further to that, the design did not accommodate the realities of limited galvanizing size limitations available in the marketplace. Whitemud coordinated the extensive planning and necessary changes to the steel elements to ensure that tight timelines were met. Our decades of experience in steel fabrication and construction uniquely positioned us as ideal builders for this structure.

The Legacy Continues

Our experienced team excelled at coordinating and executing this project, completing the build to specification on time. Our team was pleased to have the opportunity to help Molson and Coors make history with their innovative building in Chilliwack, BC.
